Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, the most popular live-streaming gamer on Twitch who has found the most mainstream success in the United States, will co-stream and provide commentary on the Thursday Night Football game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs, offering commentary to his more than 12 million Twitch followers.
Twitch has live-streamed Thursday Night Football games this season under a two-year agreement between the NFL and Amazon, Twitch’s parent company. Games streamed on Twitch carry unique and interactive features, including stat overlays and custom emoji. Numerous Twitch personalities have also streamed the games, though none as big as Ninja. The game Thursday night begins at 8:20 p.m. ET.
The 27-year-old Ninja is best-known for his “Fortnite” game play and streaming. He has streamed battles against celebrities, athletes and musicians, including Drake and Ellen DeGeneres. In September, he became the first professional gamer featured on the cover of ESPN The Magazine.
“It’s cool to be able to co-stream and commentate a ‘Thursday Night Football’ game for my Twitch community and connect with them over other interests like this,” Ninja said in a statement through Amazon.
Thursday Night Football games are also available on Fox, NFL Network and Amazon Prime Video.
