NEW YORK – (Staff Report from Official News Release) – Super Soccer Stars, a USA-based grassroots national youth soccer program announced that veteran sports marketing leader Adam Geisler joined the organization as CEO. Geisler brings a tremendous amount of experience in both topline and bottom line growth through strategy, sales and business development with a proven track record of success with businesses at various levels of scale over the last 18 years, including HIS leadership positions at sports business companies like Everlast, MISSION and Authentic Brands Group.
Geisler’s arrival also coincides with a large private capital raise designed to help expand Super Soccer Stars’ business well into the next decade.
“Soccer is the gateway and is the first sport a child gets to experience,” said Geisler. “It’s our responsibility as brand owners and educators to engage children at a young age through sport and social development, and teach them the fundamentals of sport while enjoying the activity.
“Our vision is to become the largest youth sports recreation and educational platform through ‘deliberate play,’ beginning with soccer and moving into our long term plan to acquire and build best in class youth sports brands across the country.
Founded in 2000, Super Soccer Stars is the largest grassroots program in New York City, and also features locations in 24 cities in 13 different states reaching 150,000 children. The mission is to focus on a healthy lifestyle and basic athletic skills development while having fun and building self-confidence and teamwork. Soccer Super Stars’ custom coaching and player development modules are designed for players from 12 months up to 8 years of age and various skill levels.
Geisler spent the first ten years of his career at Everlast.
