The PGA Tour’s FedExCup Playoffs continue this week with the top 100 point-scorers moving on to the suburbs of Boston:

LAST YEAR: Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland came from six strokes behind in the final round, shooting 6-under-par 65 to win by two strokes over Paul Casey of England. McIlroy won for the first time on U.S. soil in nearly 16 months and added the Tour Championship three weeks later to claim the FedExCup. After playing his first three holes in round one in 4 over, McIlroy shoot off an opening 71 by reeling off scores of 67-66-65. He took the lead for good with a 20-foot birdie putt on the 12th hole in the final round and then got up and down for a clinching birdie on the final hole. Casey, whose only victory on the PGA Tour came in the 2009 Shell Houston Open, closed with a 73.
